Nancy graduated from the State University of New York at Geneseo with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Special Education. She then graduated summa cum laude with a Master of Science degree in Reading, K-12, from that same university.
She has taught reading in the public school system, both in upstate New York and in Colorado, teaching a range of levels from elementary to high school. Nancy also worked with adult students at the Center for Adult Learning in Loveland as a volunteer.
Nancy established The Reading Clinic, Inc. in 1990 as a means for providing individualized instruction for students of all ages. She believes that it is essential that each person learns to read with his or her own learning style. We are all unique, and our avenues to learning will vary.
During her free time, Nancy enjoys spending time with her family, walking, working in the yard, playing the flute, and being with her pets, Biscuit and Izzy. Of course, she also can be seen reading on a regular basis!
